Integrative Bodybuilding - Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I want to pay to be a member of this bodybuilding forum when there are so many free ones out there?...

Good question! First of all, I hope you find the information I provide and interaction here worth the subscription fee. When I think back to the money I've spend on bodybuilding magazines over the years, I personally think this website will be much more valuable than one of those monthly subscriptions.
I actually chose to create a forum instead of simply expand my website because forums are are easy way to organize content (articles, videos, interviews, etc.), and a great way to have direct interaction with the “consumers” of said content (that’s you!). So, rather than just reading an article, for instance, and thinking, “Wow, that was a cool article.” You can now say, “Wow, Scott, I liked the article! What do you think about this…”

Scott, why did you call the board "Integrative Bodybuilding?" What does that mean, really?

Integrative means to "blend into a unified whole" and, in the context of integrative medicine, to combine alternative and conventional medicine (Merriam-Webster), which is how I conduct my acupuncture practice, for example. When it comes to bodybuilding, my perspective is that empirical, in the trenches knowledge, western exercise science as well as alternative medical, nutritional and herbal approaches can complement each other in the pursuit of physique development, in an approach I would call "Integrative Bodybuilding."

How do I subscribe?.... How can I become an Advertising Sponsor on the board?...

Subscriptions (Memberships) and Sponsorship Packages are available here: http://www.drscottstevenson.com/forum/my...ptions.php

If no Sponsorship options are available, please send a private message to Scott Stevenson for more info.

How do I cancel my subscription to the forum?

You can CANCEL you subscription to the site at any time VIA your PAYPAL account (NOT via the forum). Ideally, you would do this shortly before your next recurring payment is due. (I will simply remove your access privileges when I receive notice that your subscription has been cancelled, regardless of when that occurs.)

While I can help with board access if you have problems, only you can cancel the payment end of your subscription. THIS LINK provides instructions for cancelling a Subscription: https://www.paypal.com/helpcenter/main.j...tance=9016]

Also, because the configuration of paypal's site seems to change over time (and perhaps by location), here is a set of instructions that may also help if you need to cancel your Subscription. (NOTE THAT THE SUBSCRIPTION WILL BE TO Evlogia QiWorks, LLC, the name of my business.)

1. Log into Paypal

2. Click on "My Profile" under where is says "My Account..."

3. Click on "My Money" on the left.

4. Go to "My preapproved payments" and click the option to "update" payments.

5. One of the pre-approved merchants should be "Evlogia QiWorks, LLC". Click on "Evlogia QiWorks, LLC" to update the subscription option.

6. Cancel the preapproved payment at the bottom of the page.

7. Confirm the notification, "This profile has been canceled and cannot be reactivated. No more recurring payments will be made."

At the bottom of each thread, there is an option to Mark as: [Solved or Not Solved]; Assigned to [Various Moderators and Admins] and Category: [Various Options]. What is this all about?...

This is a special feature I’ve installed in the board (at least for the time being) to help us make sure that threads directed at myself, moderators, or board experts will be sure to know about said thread. PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE this option. Give an the individual you have asked a question to a bit of time to respond before assigning threads and also, do not change the thread assignment unless there is an absolute need. (I’m trusting your judgment here.) You can also "Mark as Best Answer" any particular post in a thread which will automatically switch the thread to "Solved" status.

Can I pay for friend's membership to the board?...

Sure, you’ll just have to subscribe twice and let me know your friend’s screen name after he / she has registered. I’ll then manually move that person into your subscription

Can I make a donation to the board?...

You sure can. Just go here http://drscottstevenson.com/forum/donate.php to donate. This is in NO WAY mandatory in the least. Also, a donation is NOT the same as subscribing to the board.
