Swapping calves for something else - Cid - 03-29-2018

Hi guys.
What could be a good replacement/or recommendation for swapping out calves?
My girlfriend got well developed calves and thinks 3x/week is a bit too much.
I was thinking maybe keep loading and possibly pump and switch MR for some glute pump sets.
Any suggestions?

What are her goals?...

Why would calves need to be swapped per se?... (Why not just not train them if they are developed as well as she or you, maybe, would like?...)

Right now she's cutting so goals are just continue to get stronger as long as possible and get leaner.
In my opinion she should/could just keep them in but thought I would just ask a for second opinion.

The glutes get some heavy loading during the week from deadlifts and different ham exercises in her routine so maybe just add pump sets then ob lower MR-day? And/or possibly on lower loading?

Well, here's the thing...

You're speaking for her about a program she's never done, and I've never even seen her physique. Maybe her calves would do just fine with the regular training.

I'd not start off modifying the program before even using it. After a few weeks, I'd bet a more definitive answer will present itself.

Thanks for quick the answer Scott. Forgot to note that she's on her 3rd blast now and tier1.
English is not my first language so sorry if my replies were a little lacking

No worries...

Ah, OK, so are her calves growing out of proportion / in a way she doesn't like?...

Tell her she can donate some of her calves to me

I've already called dibs on her calf gaines lol.

Yeah, exactly like that Scott.

Ah, OK....

Well, I'd just simply not train calves and train otherwise to the best of her recovery ability. Smile
