I'v been sticking with the tier II, my body is responding well to tier 2 so I haven't bumped up to tier 3. I'v decided to start training for a show which is 12 weeks away, my question is do I stick with the fortitude training or go back to high intensity Dorian type training for contest prep. I guess I m just nervous bout only training 4 days a week compared to training 6 days a week, that's what I v done in previous prep. Any input would be great, thanks
I would do whatever has worked for you in the past, but personally nervous about changing from a program (FT) that is working for you. I can't recall the last time (it must have been more than a decade ago, I'd guess) when I changed someone's weight training program (that's been working) just because that person started prepping.
Are you trying to use weight training to create a caloric deficit and drop fat?
If anything, I subscribed to reducing weight training volume as a show nears: Recovery is reduced, but if you can maintain intensity (Loads used) in the gym and thus strength, you're doing to have a very high likelihood of holding on to muscle mass.

P.S. I don't think I've ever train more than 4 x / week getting ready for shows, at least in this century.
