Hey Scott,
Is there an insulin type spike and plunge when using high carb intra wo drinks that may contribute to the following?
All my work outs start really well, but by the end (especially loading and pump) i'm super drained and could literally fall asleep on the 2minute drive home from the gym. It's almost as if i'm coming down off a massive high of some sort. I do like to think that i train extremely hard, but this even occurs when using tier 1.
I train first thing of a morning 4.30am, i usually have a banana and 30g wpi at 4am, then begin sipping my intra wo on gym arrival at 4.30am.
Intra is 250ml pomegranate juice, 250ml cocunut water and 3 scoops of powerade powder. = 87g Carbs.
Thanks Tye.
