FYI, FT will typically change (increase) your caloric requirements, so take that into consideration. (It may be that even though your current goal is to drop fat, you may need to slightly increase kcal so that you don't drop fat too quickly.) Also, I'd not generally suggest someone start FT with the goal of dropping fat per se, as the program is strongly progressive overload oriented. It might be worth your while to at least do one blast where you're eating enough to make progress (gym and on the scale) while learning he program, and then (see the FAQ at the end of the book) you could switch to fat loss mode, once you've got the hang of things (esp. the auto regulation component). Cheers! -Scott RE: Introduce Yourself: If you've never Posted, Post here please... - ChristianStrandh - 01-14-2025 Hi Scott A (very) belated thank you for the feedback, Long time passed but though I might make an update. FT did not work neither good nor bad for me during summer 2024, mainly stalled, and during the autumn I did a split routine which worked ok, although the lower body volume became to low over time. I really enjoyed doing fortitude, and I just think I need to modify it a bit according to myself. So now I am doing the Turbo version, one workout every other day, I currently don't do muscle rounds, which I have instead replaced with a set type lying in between the loading and pumping sets. Working slowly up the volume tiers, now starting with 2 after some weeks on 1. I dont rotate the loading set between weeks, though that is something I will implement. I am not saying that muscle rounds are bad, I think I was to weak to fully benefit from them + not having the best equipment/excercise selection possibilities for them. Nowadays I am working out sometimes from a workplace gym having some useful machines, and I will start to occassionaly work out on a well equipped bodybuilding gym, so I will try out muscle rounds again later. Will be a bit more active in this forum (not this specific thread/topic of course). It sounds like something needed modifying. The culprits for lack of progress are often pretty simple: Lack of recovery, lack of adequate nutrition, a training stimulus that is mis-matched. This goes for any program, pretty much, FT or otherwise. It might be informative for others (we could do this in another thread) if you could wager a guess as to what wasn't working for you. Was Tier I too much?... Wear you not sleeping enough? ------ I didn't quote it, but you said in your previous post that you're now switching to the Turbo Version, which is not what I'd generally recognize in your case, knowing what I know. Turbo that's for folks who truly know they (could) benefit from a very high frequency, and are also well versed in tuning in FT to fit their needs (right volume Tier on a day by day, exercise selection to suit biomechanics/ mind muscle connection, appropriate way to approach Pump Sets, right choice of stretch type, etc.) -S RE: Introduce Yourself: If you've never Posted, Post here please... - ChristianStrandh - 01-16-2025 (01-15-2025, 12:40 AM)Scott Stevenson Wrote: Hey Christian!
